American Gas Accumulator Company
This is a vintage portable floodlight that was manufactured by American Gas Accumulator Company. It dates back to the 1940s or earlier and was probably used on airfields during wartime. This light has a 14" tall by 14" wide Fresnel lens that is in mint condition with no chips or cracks. There are a couple of small bubbles that are in the glass. (I can provide photos.) This light is about 2' tall as you see it in the photo.
The yellow housing is in working condition. It has a hatch with two latches that opens to allow access to the bulb and reflector. The fixture accepts a bulb that is 1250 watts. It uses the two prong type bulb.
The light comes in a military type trunk that has a compartment for extra bulbs and mounts in the trunk lid for the three extension poles that were used to elevate the light to proper height. These poles and other attachments are not included.
This light is in working condition. It plugs into a normal 110 outlet. The light comes on when it is plugged in - there is no switch.
I prefer that this light be picked up locally, but shipping may be possible. Contact me for more information about shipping.
